I was convinced that this creature is not real. And then someone brought it up, she is proud that Unicorns are real and so here I am writing about Unicorns. Sigh*
Unicorns are said to be the representation of being different. In our modern world, Unicorns are interpreted to be cute for Ig stories.
I have to sit down and read about the history of Unicorns, is this creature even real?
If I ask you today?
What is a Unicorn?
You would give me a description of a horse with a horn and has rainbow hair and then you would tell me that it represents non-conformity. I would agree at some point because my basis would be twitter and facebook but if you thoroughly read about this creature you’d be surprised.
According to some of my readings, this legendary creature is a symbol of purity and grace. It can only be captured by a virgin and it can heal sickness. A lot of people think this creature originated from ancient Greek mythology but believe it or not, history says the first Unicorn is said to be seen in India.
It is not the colorful cute horse but it is described as a proud and haughty beast which would rather die than be captured.
So what do you think? Does it exist or not?
The main reason for this writing is that I know of a person who believes that Unicorns are real. I told her not, I told her it’s like Santa Claus. She would argue and tell me that her belief of such creature is not based upon evidence or living proof. She said that believing in something gives you hope, gives you a hold of uncertainties.
And so, I am writing this to tell this person that she is definitely right. I shouldn’t have questioned her beliefs, I shouldn’t have shaded her hopes. Because sometimes having these things, believing in miracles and cosmos are the things that keep us going.
We don’t need a proof to convince people with our beliefs. We tell them what we believe in and smile at them.
Who knows you might find same souls who also believe that Unicorns are real.
Love,
Reney
